It’s All About Connection

Whether you’re a manager or a board member, you know that running a condo, HOA, or co-op has never been an easy job.

That’s why CooperatorEvents is bringing the South Florida Expo—the premier trade event for anyone and everyone involved in South Florida’s condo, HOA, and co-op industry—back to the Broward County Convention Center in Ft. Lauderdale on Thursday, December 7th from 10am-4pm. Register now for free at fl-expo.com. No other event puts you right in front of all the vendors and service providers your building or HOA needs every day, in one place, for FREE! You can put faces to names you’ve known for years, network with peers and colleagues, shop for services, learn about the latest multifamily innovations, and attend free seminars led by industry experts.

It’s All About Education

Along with the hundreds of vendors and service providers exhibiting on the main floor is the Expo’s full roster of educational seminars and workshops. Expert presenters and panelists from every corner of the multifamily residential sector, including legal, management, telecom, financial, and facilities maintenance pros will be there to give attendees invaluable insight on the issues that matter. These informative discussions are FREE for all Expo participants, and will include at least one state-accredited CEU/CAM course for board members, managers, and unit owners to satisfy the Florida Condominium and HOA legal requirements for board certification.

Communication in Crisis—Emergency Responder Communications

Enhancement Systems (ERCES) for Multi-tenant Buildings

Sponsored by: Industrial Communications & Electronics

When firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders enter a condominium or commercial building, the radios, smartphones, and other  wireless devices they use to communicate rely on radio frequency signals. Those signals can lose strength as they pass through walls, floors, and other building infrastructure—with potentially tragic results. Having an effective Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement System (ERCES) helps ensure that the devices first responders need to do their jobs can function properly. This seminar will explain the basics of ERCES, discuss state and local requirements (and the risks of non-compliance), and show how an ERCES keeps buildings and properties safer and more secure.
